    Temporary Full Time Quality Improvement Consultant
    Until approximately May 30, 2019



    Days- Monday to Friday, occasional weekends and evenings as required

    The Quality Improvement Consultant uses expert knowledge and skills to provide current and future state analysis, gap identification and prioritization, consultative support, coaching to clinical programs and services as it relates to quality, process improvement and performance management to meet requirements of the enterprise health information system, achieve operational efficiencies and achieve sustainable change. In performing the functions of this role, the incumbent takes into consideration external and internal drivers in determining actions to provide business services. Job duties include, but are not limited to execution of process improvement tools and techniques, coaching/mentorship, planning, evaluation, application of change management, and leadership. The incumbent contributes to ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.



    • Masters Degree in Health Sciences, MBA, Health Administration

    • Certification in LEAN/Six Sigma and working knowledge of IHI
    • improvement model
    • Expertise in the application of quality improvement tools, techniques and
    • methodologies,
    • Demonstrated application of quality improvement processes application
    • as it applies to the broader health care spectrum and
    • national/international priorities
    • Expertise in adult education principals
    • High level of initiative, decisiveness and business acumen
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
    • Demonstrated expertise in meeting and group facilitation
    • Excellent change management, problem solving, negotiations and conflict
    • resolution skills
    • Experience in project management,
    • Experience in evaluation, measurement, data collection and analysis,
    • High level of initiative, decisiveness and business acumen
    • Understanding of the issues related to privacy, confidentiality, and data
    • security
    • Working knowledge of the principles and application of organizational
    • change/effectiveness models
    • Ability to prioritize and meet competing deadlines
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite including MS Word, Excel, MS Project™, MS Visio and SharePoint™
