Come and explore an opportunity to join a well-established Department of Hospitalist Medicine in Kitchener-Waterloo. We are looking for dedicated full-time or part time hospitalists to join our collegial group, which covers two Hospitals.

Grand River and St. Mary’s General Hospitals function as an integrated system with a joint medical staff and complementary clinical programs which serve both the local community and our region. Each hospital has acute care ED services with patient volumes reaching approximately 55,000 visits/annum.
St. Mary’s General Hospital operates a Regional Cardiac Care Centre (CVT, EP, Interventional and noninvasive services) and is a Centre of Excellence for Respir atory and Thoracic Care. Grand River Hospital hosts several regional programs including the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre (GRRCC), Hepatobiliary Surgery, Renal, and Acute Stroke programs.
Our service oriented team provides high-quality MRP care to medical inpatients. The Hospitalist program is well supported by experienced nursing team, and by consultants in a wide variety of medical and surgical specialities including, anaesthesia, cardiology, gastroenterology, oncology, pediatrics, general surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology, psychiatry etc. Full diagnostic modalities are available including 24/7 access to laboratory and diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, ultrasound), nuclear medicine as well as echocardiography and stress tests.
In this position you will also have the opportunity to teach medical students and residents through our affiliation with McMaster University Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine and academic positions are available.
The successful candidate will be a Family Physician or General Internist with solid interpersonal and clinical skills. The candidate must possess or be able to obtain an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Ontario with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
